It would be extremely useful to have a Gmail button or shortcut that allows users to quickly add an email to an existing Snoooz rule — without leaving Gmail or opening the Snoooz dashboard.
Problem:
Currently, if I want to add an email from Gmail to an existing Snoooz rule, I have to:
Leave Gmail
Open Snoooz
Find the existing rule
Manually add or recreate the email parameters
This interrupts the workflow and makes rule management slower and less intuitive.
Proposed Solution:
Add an “Add to Snoooz Rule” button within Gmail (for example, in the toolbar or the Snoooz extension popup). When clicked, it could:
Let me choose an existing rule to attach the email to, or
Quickly create a new rule from that email
Because the email already includes key data — like subject, sender, and recipient — that information could automatically populate the rule fields.
Additional Idea:
Allow AI to analyze the email’s content and suggest relevant rule parameters automatically. For example, it could detect recurring subjects, senders, or keywords and propose a rule draft for quick confirmation.
Why This Matters:
Keeps users within their natural Gmail workflow
Makes rule creation and editing much faster
Reduces context switching between Gmail and Snoooz
Strengthens the integration between Snoooz and the email experience
